From Friday, February 5 through Sunday, February 7, The Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation and the Association of Bridal Consultants present the Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns.
The Sheraton Raleigh Hotel has generously donated space for this fantastic opportunity for brides to find the gown of their dreams at a price that can’t be beat. All proceeds from this event go to benefit the educational programs and wish grant funds of the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation.
On Friday, February 5, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., we’ll have a VIP fashion show and dinner, and you’re invited! For $30.00, you’ll be treated to a fashion show of gowns available for sale and dinner prepared by the wonderful chef at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. You’ll be seated at tables decorated by members of the Association of Bridal Consultants, giving you reception ideas, too. After dinner, you get the exclusive opportunity to preview all the gowns available and find the gown you’ve always dreamed of!
You’ll browse through hundreds of name brand and designer wedding gowns $99* and up donated by designers, retailers, manufacturers, and individuals, some valued to $8,000!
The General Sale then takes place on Saturday, February 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is Free for everyone. There will also be a vendor showcase to help you plan your wedding.

Every person you see at the event is a volunteer – we need a lot of support from our community to make this a huge success! If you are interested in volunteering, please click the Contact Us link to the left and send an e-mail! We ask that you stay at least 2 hours, but if you can stay longer, please do!

- 12:00 noon (tentative) - 5:00 p.m. Load in – We need LOTS of help, especially men! The racks of dresses are very heavy!
- 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Registration
- 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – Models, Dressing Brides, Runners
Saturday
- 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Runners, Dressing Brides, Vendor Liasons, Registration
Sunday
- 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Runners, Dressing Brides, Vendor Liasons, Registration
- 5:00 p.m. until finish – Load Out! Covering and loading dresses back on truck – men needed!
